In demography, demographic transition is a phenomenon and theory which refers to the historical shift from high birth rates and

the basic physical and organizational structures and facilities (e.g. buildings, roads, power supplies) needed for the operation of a society or enterprise.
arable land
Arable land is any land capable of being ploughed and used to grow crops.
urbanization
process in which there is an increase in the number of people living and working in a city or metropolitan area.

are low-income countries confronting severe structural impediments to sustainable development
