Depersonalization-Derealization Disorder

Dissociative Amnesia

Major Depressive Disorder

Bipolar Treatment (5 kinds)
- Medication: antidepressants (tricyclics, MAO inhibitors, SSRIs, Lithium is preferred
- CBT:
- Interpersonal Psychotherapy
- Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT)
- Light Therapy (for seasonal affective disorder)
Desyrel
Hypnotic; treats aggressive behavior, panic disorder

Must be titrated to full dose or else aggravating side effects
Lexapro
Changes RNA in cells, helps with depression and PTSD
Zoloft
Helps with depression, anger; may reduce sexual performance
Cymbalta
Best overall antidepressant for men. Swiss army Knife of medications; peripheral neuropathy
Depakote
Treats milder/different forms of bipolar disorder
Topamax
Treats bipolar and migrant headaches. High doses help with weight reduction
Lithium
Best all around drug for Bipolar
Symbyax
Treats mania/depression (zyprexa/prozac combination)
Lamictal
Treats bipolar with one drug because it has antidepressant effects. Life threatening rash when taken with alchohal
Braylar
Treats Skitzophrenia; manic, mixed and depressed episodes
