-look at a stationary object in front of you and the car in front of you. When the car you at following passes the object, count to 3 and if your front bumber hasn’t passed the object there is a safe distance

Keep one car length for every 10mph of speed.

What is the stopping distance formula?
Stopping distance=perception distance + reaction distance + braking distance
When are road surfaces most slippery?
During first few minutes of rainfall.
What should you do if your vehicle goes into a skid?
Turn wheel in direction of skid, don’t brake, take foot off gas, then straighten wheel out when vehicle is settled
