What is Federal Communications commission?
Regulates all radio operations in the United states.
What do you things must be present to transfer care?
A verbal report and a written copy of the patient care report.
What is a PCR?
Patient care report. Provides important information to those that will continue patient care after your work is done.
What Time stamps should always be on your PCR
Dispatch time. En route to call, time on scene,patient contact time, time in route to hospital, arrival time, arrival hospital time, transfer of care was completed.
What is the difference between objective and subjective documentation?
Objective- facts, findings or observations.
Subjective- opinions or perceptions.
What is associated symptoms?
Complaints in addition to the chief complaint.
What is a pertinent negative?
Signs or symptoms you have reason to suspect but the patient denies having.
What is errors of omission?
Something that should have been included was left out of the PCR
What is errors of commission?
Something incorrect was included on the PCR
