Development
Means change and refers to the way a community can grow and change over time
Expansion
Refers to an increase in size. In religion, expansion refers to the way it spreads over period time.

It marked the beginning of the Christian church, a Christian celebration of the Holy Spirit coming down on the disciples

The first challenge of the Christian Church, Christianity spilt into two parts

A Catholic Augustinian monk who disagreed with certain practices within the church

Luther was excommunicated from the Catholic Church, so he went on to form his own church called the Lutheran Church

Being in charge of more that one diocese
