steps to take in an emergency situation
-always notice the TIME to find out what happened
-if a person is conscious, listen to him & reassure them that they are being taken care of
-access the victim, ask the injured or ill person what happened, determine if the person is conscious
-make sure area is safe and put gloves on

-a condition that occurs when there is a decrease in blood flow to organs & tissues
-put their feet up to try to drain blood to brain (1st thing you should do when someone is in shock)
