Part C (MA) plans are offered by Medicare Advantage Organizations (MAOs) contracting with Medicare to provide Part A and Part B benefits to people with Medicare who enroll in the MA plan. Usually MA plans offer more benefits (e.g., routine physicals and prescription drugs) to offset their more restricted contracted provider networks.
