observation
the action or process of observing something or someone carefully or in order to gain information.
hypothesis
a supposition or proposed explanation made on the basis of limited evidence as a starting point for further investigation.
prediction
Statements made in advance that express the results that will be obtained from testing a hypothesis if the hypothesis is supported.
experimental group
refers to the group of participants who are exposed to the independent variable.
control group
the standard to which comparisons are made in an experiment.
data
a method of research in which a problem is identified, relevant data are gathered
correlation
The most basic measure of association between two variables is known as covariance and its normalized version is known as correlation.
statistics
the practice or science of collecting and analyzing numerical data in large quantities, especially for the purpose of inferring proportions in a whole from those in a representative sample.
mean

is the relative arrangement of the members of s statistical population.
