- Spain colonized west of the Americas.

• Led several hundred Spanish soldiers and many thousands of Indian allies and conquered the Aztec empire.

- Destroy the Incan Empire.
- Seized as much money as possible.
- Killed by his conquistadors
The triangular trade
- Connected Europe Africa and American continents.
- European merchants ships (British, French Spaniard Portuguese…) carried European manufactured goods (guns gin cloth) to Africa where they were traded for a cargo of slaves.

- (group of directors made final decisions)

- Name of historians use to identify a set of economic tendencies.
- They came to dominate economic practices.
- Believe that total volume of trade was unchangeable.
