dual pathway of emotion
thalamus sends information to both cognitive appraisal (cerebral cortex) which interprats those emotions and the amygdala which is the emotional and behavioral reaction
hemispheric activation
left side likes positive emotions, ride side likes negative emotions
expressive behaviors
observable displays of emotion.
