Criminal justice
system/process of creating, interpreting, and enforcing laws of the state
Social justice
difficult to explain, involves fair and equitable distribution of power/resources
soc. justice defined by 1993 commission on social justice (4)
1:everyone is equal worth
2:everyone is entitled to basic needs (income, food, shelter, education and health
3:self-respect/autonomy is in the idea of equal worth w/ fulfillment is based of the person
4: inequalities are not necessarily unjust, but they are eliminated where possible
