The CPT facilities motivation and adherence as well as develops and administers programs designed to enhance muscular strength/endurance, flexibility, cardiorespiratory fitness, body composition, and /or any of the motor skill related components of physical fitness (i.e. balance coordination, power, agility, speed, and reaction time).
What does the scope of a CPT NOT include?
meal planning or diagnosing injuries or other medical conditions, nor can a CPT work with individuals who cannot currently exercise independently.

Is it possible for CPT to obtain employment without a related degree? Explain.
Yes, according to ACSM the educational minimum requirement to become a CPT is a HS diploma. Some fitness programs/companies require a degree especially when roles include management of some sort.
