Hypothesis and it is a tentative explanation
What is the third step of a scientific method?
Experiments which are highly controlled observations to test the hypothesis
What is the fourth step of the scientific method?
Scientific law, which describes what happens know how it happened or why it happens
What is the last step of the scientific method? And is it the highest level?
Scientific theory, which is a well supported explanation of what, and how a phenomenon occurs. These theories can still be disproven after and yes, it is the highest level.
