Infectious form is cyst found in muscle of pig
abdominal discomfort/irritation of intestinal wall
Cysticerosis occurs from human ingestion of eggs- RARELY AUTO-INFECTION
taenia saginata
beef tapeworm- same symptoms as solium without possibility of cystercicosis
tell difference not based on eggs but by proglottids in feces
impt b/c of clinical relevance
