• Dr has one hand on sub-occip muscles, the other hand beneath the chin
• engage restricted barriers (F/E, R, SB)

AA MET

Answer 3

• Pt supine, Dr will FULLY FLEX pt’s head

- engage restricted barriers (rotation only)

C2-C7 MET

Answer 4

• Pt supine, Dr will contact articular pillar with 1st MCP

- F/E, engage restricted barriers

Seated Cervical MET

Answer 5

• Dr uses thumb and index finger to monitor TP of dysfunctional segment, uses middle finger to monitor one segment below
• Place hand on pt’s head, induce F/E by bending the head, then induce R, SB
