How many sub-classes for Stage 1 cervical ca?
2: 1A and 1B (1A contains 2 more subdivisions, 1B contains 3 sub-divisions)
What is stage 1A cervical ca?
Microscopic disease
What is stage 1A1 cervical ca?
1A1: confined to the cervix, measuring <3mm depth
What is stage 1A2 cervical ca?
1A2: confined to cervix, measuring >3mm but less than 5mm
What is stage 1B1 cervical ca?
1B1: >5mm, <2cm
What is stage 1B2 cervical ca?
1B2: >2, <4cm
What is stage 1B3 cervical ca?
1B3: >4cm
How many sub-classes for stage II cervical ca?
2: IIA (IIA1 and IIA2) and IIB
What is stage IIA1 cervical cancer?
IIA1: <4cm, extension beyond the uterus, no parametrial involvement
What is stage II cervical ca?
Extends beyond the cervix but does not invade lower 1/3 of the vagina
What is stage IIA2 cervical ca?
IIA2: >4cm, extension beyond the uterus, no parametrial involvement
What is stage IIB cervical ca?
IIB: + parametrial invovlement, extends beyond the uterus but not up to the pelvic side wall
How many sub-classes in stage III cervical ca?
3: A, B, C (C1, C2)
What is stage III cervical ca?
invades lower 1/3 of vagina, and/or extends to pelvic side wall causing hydronephrosis, and/or LN involvement
What is stage IIIA cervical ca?
IIIA: spread to lower 1/3 of vagina
