What are the screening recommendations for cervical cancer? Who do these screening guidelines it not apply to (4 scenarios)?
A
Screen women age 25-69 years with Pap test cervical cytology Q3 years and stop screening at age 70 if they have had 3 negative tests in the past 10 years.
DO NOT apply to people who have never been sexually active, have had previous abnormal Pap tests, are immune compromised or symptomatic.
