Receive impulse form sense organs via sensory neurons
What is the hemispheres of the brain
When info from the right visual field and right side of the body is processed in the left hemisphere of the cerebral cortex and vice Versa
There are localisations of brain functions what does this mea
Certain parts are dedicated to particular functions
What are the association areas involved in
1) making links to the correct to 2) allow language and info processing 3) to control personality, imagination and 4) imortant for intelligence
What do the mother areas do
Send impulse from sensory areas to the effectors to bring about a response
What is the corpus collosum
A bride of tissue ( nerve fibres ) that connects the 2 cerebral hemispheres allowing information to be passed quickly between them
What occults in the cerebral cortex
This is the centre of conscious though
Is important for the recall of memories
