What is cellulitis?
A
- A bacterial skin infection (bacteria enters the skin)
- Spreads rapidly

What are the symptoms of cellulitis?
A
- Skin appears swollen, red and hot
- Blisters
- Chills, fever, malaise (over all feeling of discomfort)

What is the cause of cellulitis?
A
- Bacteria infects deeper layers of the skin if it’s broken.
- Due to insect bite/ cut or cracked dry skin

What is the treatment of cellulitis?
A
- Cover wound to prevent irritation & promote healing
- Keep clean and dry
- Cold compress
- Antibiotics and penicillin
