What is cell differentiation?
the process by which
unspecialized cells, called stem cells, become
specialized cells. (so they get their job).
What are embryotic stem cells?
has the potential to
develop into several types of cells. They are
pluripotent (means having potential).
What are adult stem cells?
They are
multipotent or unipotent. (can have lots of potential cell types or only one).
What is cell potency?
the cell’s ability to develop into other types of cells
