Cells Flashcards
What characteristics does a plant cell have?
It is multicellular, has chloroplasts(means photosynthesis can occur) and has a cell wall made of cellulose
What characteristics does a animal cell have?
A animal cell is multicellular, does not have a chloroplast(no photosynthesis) and does not have a cell wall.
What characteristics does a fungi cell have?
Fungi cell is single cellular, cell has a cell wall made of chitin and can not photosynthesis.
What characteristics does a protoctists have?
It is single celled and microscopic, some have chloroplasts like a plant cell and some are more like animal cells.
What characteristics does a bacteria cell have?
Single celled and microscopic, has no nucleus and has a circular chromosome of DNA
What characteristics does a virus cell have?
They are particles rather than cells, smaller than bacteria, only reproduces inside living cells and infest all types of living organisms and has a protein coat.
