What does the method traditionelle taste like.

A

Characteristics of peach, red apple and a bit buiscuity. Delicate fizz. Dry.
Champagne style - gentle fizz which happens on second fermentation which happens in the bottle, takes a long time to make, 18 months. Comes from Chardonnay and Pinot noir grapes (why we get it from Marlborough)

What does the reserve pinot Gris taste like?

A

Very sweet, very rich, pear, lychee, honey and lime, ginger and spice.
Fans of Asian food would think of perhaps a sake, would go great with something very savoury like a cheese board.

What does the port style wine taste like?

A

Christmas cake, vanilla, violets, spice, dark chocolate.
20% alcohol. Could sit in your cupboard for up to 10 years and would mellow as it matures into a really lovely flavour.
