Q

Golgi apparatus

A

A packaging organelle with pancake shaped membranes which gather simple molecules and converts to complex molecules which are packaged into vesicles and are stored or sent. It also build lysosomes.

Q

Eukaryotic cell membrane

A

A selectively permeable membrane that controls the movement of substances in and out of cells. Consists of a lipid bilayer with embedded proteins. It anchors the cytoskeleton and partakes in cell adhesion to form tissues.

17
Q

Cytoskeleton

A

Gives the cell it’s structure. It’s responsible for cell motility and motility of organelles within the cell.Made up of micro-filaments, micro-tubules and intermediate filaments.
