Q

Cell membrane

A

the outer boundary of the cell that separates it from neighboring cells and from the external environment. its made up of double layer of lipid molecules and associated portions. it determines which substance can get in or out of a cell

Golgi body

A

flattened, membranous bags stacked on top of each other. they modify proteins and package them in vesicles for secretion from the cell.

Mitochondria

A

spherical or elongated structure spread throughout the cytoplasm. they have a double membrane, and they release energy for the cell through the process of respiration.

Q

Inclusion

A

Chemical substances that are not part of the cell structure but are found in the cytoplasm of the cell. They pigment or give colour to most parts of the cell in the whole body.
