Testing beauty products
Developing vaccines

How are cell cultures done?
After extracting tissues, targeted cells are separated. To cultivate them test tubes, petri dishes, or flasks are used.
The cells are given what they need, and are transferred regularly, as they constantly use the nutrients they are given.
What do the cells need to survive?
Water
Minerals
Glucose
A sterile environment(antibiotics are added to avoid bacterial contamination)
The original conditions of the cells environment: temperature, pH, humidity
