What is in vitro fertilization
A treatment where the ova are fertilized by spermatozoa in the laboratory.
The embryos obtained are transported into the woman’s uterus, where they continue their development.
When is this treatment recommended for?
When artificial insemination attempts have failed or when the fallopian tubes are blocked.
