Q
Why does putting a sample into bacterial growth medium enable the number of particular bacteria in the sample to be increased?
A
Bacteria grow by division, one becomes two, two becomes four etc.
if growth medium used is selective for a particular type of microorganism, it’ll grow without others growing.
