- What is the purpose of SORTS?
The purpose of SORTS is threefold as follows:
- It provides data critical to crisis planning.
- It provides data for the contingency and peacetime planning process.
- It is to be used by the CSAF and subordinate commanders in assessing their effectiveness in meeting their responsibilities.
- Where is a unit’s response time reflected? And what is that response time called?

The lowest of the measured resource areas.

- First, determine the percentage for all four measured resource area.
- Then converter those using the table contained in AFI 10-201 SORTS
