What is red retaining
What is the purpose of the red retaining feature
If a signal TFM detects a fault in its circuits it will disable its outputs and enable red retaining.
this ensures under fault conditions that the modules replace signals back to their most restrictive state. RED

It is a Data Link Module. There is two in each location, duplicated for availability. They transfer the message sent by the MPM to the TFM and response back to the MPM

turn off for 5 mins. battery voltage to stay above 12V
What are the 2 SSI alarms that a signaller can get on their panel
Critical and Non critical
Critical immediately impacts train running. Non critical has no immediate effect on train running.

The correct executive software version and correct application data for the location.
