Economic crises can also cause unrest e.g. the economic crisis is Zimbabwe has led to the mass migration of refugees into South Africa and some South Africans have begun to attack the refugees to protect their jobs

If most of a country is one religion but the area of that country is a different religion then there will be conflict e.g the conflict in Kashmir - Kashmir is a mainly Muslim area in a mostly Hindu country

A major cause of ward is connected with nationalism and identity
Some people will believe that any minority of an ethnic group should be removed from the county or, in the case of the Holocaust, removed from the world

Wars can sometimes occur because of differences about ideals and politics
If one group holds particular strong viewpoints on certain issues (ideologies) and then tries to enforce those views on other people or neighbouring countries, this can case wars
e.g. The Korean War which began in 1949, when communist North Korea invaded Capitalist South Korea
