- Disruption of homeostasis:

-Failure to take medication/ injection.

- Eating too much food.
- Infection/ Fever.
- These causes will have a greater effect on diabetes patients.
Allergy and Anaphylaxis
Anything can be a trigger for an allergic/anaphylactic reaction. However, certain substances are known to be more allergenic than others:
- Peanuts
- Lactose, gluten
- Pollen
- Medicines
- Insects/Animal fur

- Chronic illnesses (COPD, asthma, Auto-immune)
- After surgery
- Exposure to extreme cold
