Apparent Safety Doctrine
When danger from D is no longer present, we no longer consider that D is the proximate cause
Intended consequences doctrine
If intentional wrong doer gets what she wanted, she should not escape criminal responsibility even if unforeseeable event intervened
Acceleration theory
But for cause. Speeds up death
When is conduct foreseeable?
If death is the natural and probable result of conduct
