- given renewed spiritual body to experience eternal life with God

- 4 Gospels: empty tomb, Apostles met ‘risen’ J so proclaimed his resurrection of body and soul

- can’t confirm afterlife/resurrection
- no heaven/hell
- just need to believe something after death
- brings comfort not actually correct
