What is the Trinity?
The belief that the Trinity is three persons in one God
What does the Trinity allow us to do?
It allows us to experience the oneness and unity of God.
What does revelation mean?
Something that is revealed by God to humans
What did the Council of Nicaea do?
They wrote the Nicene Creed to clarify the divine nature of Jesus.
What did the Council of Constantinople do?
Meeting to clarify belief in the Trinity - also said that the Holy Spirit is also God.
What is humanity?
Catholics believe that humanity is created in the image of God.
What does relate to God mean?
When humans go to Church weekly, daily prayers. This strengthens their relationship with God.
What does give and recieve love mean?
Humans can only find happiness within a community of love. Accepting the vocation of marriage.
What does incarnation mean?
Means enfleshement or making flesh.
What is Eachatology?
The Christian study of the last things in human life. The belief of life after death.
