IFR and IVUS
When adding IVUS what do you put for if IVUS is in the heart or in the peripherals?
Heart= Coronary
Peripherals= Non coronary
If adding a stent or a balloon what do you note for the first one placed in an artery?
Initial is the first
If adding a stent or a balloon what do you note for the second one placed in an artery?
If it is in the same artery as the first then you don’t do anything if it is in another artery then you put additional
Why do you watch for dampness when shooting the RCA?
Because if you see dampness then that means you could be in the conus and it can cause vfib
What is the conus?
The smooth walled outflow tract of the right ventricle located between the right ventricle and pulmonary trunk
What is the function of the conus?
acts as a support structure for the pulmonary valve. transports deoxygenated boof from the right ventricle to the pulmonary trunk
