A
  • high abuse and dependency
  • Rx (opioids, barbiturates, amphetamines)
  • Narcotics - morphine, oxy, methadone, perocet, dilaudid,
  • Stimulants - amphetamine (adderall), methamphetamine (Desoxyn), methylphenidate (Ritalin), cocaine, pentobarbitol, glutethimide

  • low abuse then I & II, low or moderate dependence
  • steroids, analgesics, barbiturates, anti-diarrheal)
  • < 15mg hydrocodone or 90mg codeine
    ie: Vicodin, Tylenol w codeine, buprenorphine, ketamine, anabolic steroids, etc

  • must report if not using as prescribed
  • can reduce effect of acupuncture
