Phineas gage 1848
Before we accent he was a kind and caring person however he had an iron pole inserted through his prefrontal cortex during a railway accident
After the accident his personality had changed he was a much more aggravated and Moody person who was a little bit aggressive
This provides evidence that the prefrontal cortex is responsible for personality as when it was damaged Mr gage’s personality changed

He was abused by his father as a child
He killed his wife and his mother then he climbed to the top of the Texas University clock tower and killed 14 people the police shot him down
but later revealed after a requested autopsy from his will that with a tumor pressing against his amygdala which made him do these things
this links amygdala to aggression
