Section 33:

This section imposes a duty of care on anyone who produces, keeps, transports, or disposes of waste.

Fly-tipping offences can lead to significant fines—up to £50,000 in Magistrates’ Courts or unlimited fines in Crown Court.
Offenders can also face up to 5 years’ imprisonment for severe cases.
