  1. Clean tooth and ensure debris free - toothbrush.
  2. Isolate tooth with cotton wool and dry guard.
  3. Etch.
  4. Apply sealant - to all pits and fissures (buccal and lingual).
  5. Check sealant integrity and remove flash.
  6. Check occlusion.

  1. Use finger press technique.
  2. GIC on one finger tip and vaseline adjacent.
  3. Wide surface of tooth with cotton wool.

A

Staining of lips, cheeks, gingivae, teeth for 1-3 weeks.
Discolours restorations.

Describe SDF application procedure ?

A
  1. Clean tooth.
  2. Make cavity self cleansing, excavate caries.
  3. Vaseline on all surrounding soft tissues.
  4. Isolate tooth and dry with 3:1.
  5. Apply SDF for 1 min on lesion.
  6. Dry with 3:1 and maintain isolation for 3 mins.
  7. Apply fluoride varnish throughout entire mouth.

A

2-4 weeks.
