Why dowhite spot lessions have most mineral loss on SUBsurface
A
Acids from plaque can penetrate lession and demineralise enamel on subsurface where the saliva cannot access therefore the outter surface remains more mineralised.This is why u do not probe a white spot lession as the surface will fall through due to the sub surface being demineralised
