CARDIOVASCULAR SYSTEM Flashcards
1
Q
MACROSCOPIC ANATOMY OF HEART
PART 1
A
- Hallow organ
- Is situated in the middle mediastinum
- Weighs about 250-300g
- Anatomical parts: Upper Part-basis AND Lower part-apex cordis
- 3 SURFACES:
1. Anterior-facies sternocostalis
2. Inferior-facies diaphragmatica
3. Lateral-facies pulmonalis

Q
MACROSCOPIC ANATOMY OF HEART
PART 2
A
-Fissures on the heart surfaces:
Sulcus coronarius on the border between the atriums and the chambers
- On the anterior and inferior surfaces- sulcus interventricularis anterior
3
Q
MACROSCOPIC ANATOMY OF HEART
PART 3
A
- Right atrium- situated in right part of the basis of the heart
- The vv. cave sup. et inf. open into it
- The opening of the main venous vessel of the heart is there - sinus coronaries
- On the medial side - fossa ovale
4
Q
MACROSCOPIC ANATOMY OF HEART
PART 4
A
- The right atrium continues into the right auricle - auricula extra
- The inner surfaces of the right auricle is not smooth- mm. pectinati
- Between the v. cava superior and the right auricle - sulcus terminalis
5
Q
MACROSCOPIC ANATOMY OF HEART
PART 5
A
- Right chamber (ventriculus):
2parts: anterior + posterior - The anterior part is with smooth surface
- It continues into the trunks pulmonalis
- It is a valve on the opening of the tr. pulmonalis- valve trunk pulmonalis
- The posterior part communicates with the right atrium trough valve - Valve trcuspidalis

Q
MACROSCOPIC ANATOMY OF HEART
PART 6
A
- Valva tricuspidalis- consists of 3 “cloths”- cusps anterior, posterior et septalis
- The cusps are connected trough collagenous fibres
- The surface of the posterior part of the right chamber is trough-trabecular carneae

Q
MACROSCOPIC ANATOMY OF HEART
PART 7
A
- Left atrium is situated in upper posterior part of the basis coris
- It continues into the left auricle- auricula sinistra
- In the left atrium open the 4 vv. pulmonales
- Left chamber- occupies the posterior part of the heart
- It has 2 parts- anterior and posterior
