Cardiac glycosides
Is an abnormal or irregular heartbeat, which can cause you to feel as though your heart skipped a beat. Your heart may beat too quickly, too slowly, or with an irregular rhythm.
A cardiac dysrhythmia (arrhythmia)
Is an anesthetic. It results in numbness in the tissues around the skin. It helps both prevent and cure pain brought on by certain operations.
