- Heart Attack: damage to the heart muscle caused by reduced or blocked blood supply. Can cause heart damage or death.
- Stroke: occurs when a blocked artery disrupts blood flow to the brain. It also can be caused by when a blood vessel in brain bursts. Can result in paralyzation, brain damage, or death.
