Q

What is the causes of acquired valvular stenosis ?

A

Almost always due to primary leaflet abnormality and virtually always a chronic process

explaination : means that the problem with the valve leaflets is not caused by another underlying condition, such as rheumatic fever or congenital heart disease. Instead, it is caused by wear and tear on the leaflets over time.
