side effects: hyper/hypotension, ventricular arrhythmias, angina
contra: chronic stimulation of myocytes can result in fatal arrhythmia
Don’t use milrinone & dobutamine together
can’t be used long term

Factors that ^ : hypokalemia, hypercalcemia, hypomagnesemia, hypothyroidism, hypoxia
