1 day old with patent Truncus arteriosus Most likely complication by 1 week of age.

What is Truncus arteriosus?
connection between the aorta and pulmonary arteries
Side effects of PGE1
1-apnea
2-hypotension
3-fever, flushing
4-Brady
Why would one use PGE1?
To keep Truncus Arteriosus open (opening btw aorta and pulmonary artery)
ASD murmur
1-systolic ejection- mid systolic
2-LUSB (2nd intercostal)
2-Fixed split wide
