A

Class 1 (“Salty C.A.B drivers”)
Na channel blockers
1C - Flecainide (contraindicated post MI)
1A - Quinidine (causes cinchonism), Disopyramide (causes de Pointes), Procainamide (Causes drug induced SLE)
1B - Lidocaine (Best post MI)

Class 2 (“Rule of 4” Beta)
Beta blockers
-olol
Contraindicated in asthma

Class 3
K+ channel blockers
Amiodarone, Sotalol
Side effects (“Rule of 3s”)
- TdP
- TFT (can cause thyroid dysfunction - hypo and hyper)
- LFT (Can cause liver cirrhosis/hepatitis)
- PFT (Can cause pulmonary fibrosis)

Class 4
Calcium Channel Blocker
Verapamil & Diltiazem
Contraindicated in heart failure. Can cause ankle oedema
