What is cardiac myxoma?
A
A rare benign cardiac tumour that is more common in females. 2:1
It is usually sporadic but can be familial.

Clinical features of cardiac myxoma.
A
May mimic infective endocarditis with fever, weight loss, clubbing, raised ESR and systemic emboli.
It can also mimic mitral stenosis with left atrial obstruction and AF.
“Tumour plop” might be heard
