A
-injecting with CO2 under pressure

What type of sparkling wine is carbonation good for?
A
-bubbles may die quickly in fully sparkling wine
-but good for petillant lower style pressure wines

What is the advantage of carbonation?
A
-leaving the aroma/flavour characteristics of the base wine
-suitable for aromatic/fruity sparkling
-base wine ideally needs to be of good quality, as any faults will be accentuated by bubbles
