1) Pour around 1cm depth of
2) Add approximately 1 cm depth of dilute hydrochloric acid to each sodium salt in turn
3) if you see bubbles - use the teat pipette to transfer the gas produced to a test tube of limewater
4) you will need several pipettes of the gas to get a change in the limewater
5) Empty and clean the test tubes
